How to cross the vanishing-platform route

Checkpoint 1

Rainy Plains: White Tower to Thrifty Pendant

1. Fast-travel to White Tower

   Use the Rainy Plains station and head north toward the broad river.

2. Stop before the first disappearing platform

   Let the full set return so every landing has the maximum available window.

3. Jump toward platform centers

   Use the center line rather than clipping an edge that may vanish under the landing animation.

4. Keep the camera aligned with the chain

   A straight view reduces left-right correction and makes the next platform state readable.

5. Reach the open beach

   Once across, open the secret chest containing the Thrifty Pendant.

Checkpoint 2

A repeatable timing method

Use these habits

• Begin only after seeing a full platform appear, not while it is halfway through returning.
• Aim before pressing jump; large corrections in the air create more misses than they save.
• Land near the center and immediately read the next platform rather than watching the one behind you.
• If the cycle is already late, wait one rotation instead of forcing a doomed final jump.
• On local co-op, cross one player at a time so characters and effects do not hide platform edges.

Checkpoint 3

Lullaby Hills uses a different secret route

For the Emerald of Good Fortune, travel to Lullaby Hilltop, head north toward the Illager Fortress, find the pipes on the left, descend carefully, clear the Illager ambush, and open the chest at the bottom. Do not waste time looking for the Rainy Plains river puzzle there.

Checkpoint 4

Fix repeated platform misses

Jump starts late

Wait for a complete reset rather than beginning on an already disappearing first platform.

Character drifts off the edge

Reduce camera angle and stop correcting after the arc is committed.

Next platform is hidden

Pull the camera slightly higher and cross without large combat effects covering the river.

Co-op collision or clutter

Send one player across while the others remain behind the start line.
