Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using Choicer Voicer, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. “Choicer Voicer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of choicervoicer.io. “You” refers to the visitor, player, account holder, or person acting for an organization.

If you use the site for a business, school, group, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization, and “you” includes it. Additional terms shown with a particular download, payment, Pack, Mod, promotion, or third-party service may also apply. If those additional terms conflict with these Terms for that specific feature, the more specific terms control to the extent of the conflict.

2. What Choicer Voicer provides

Choicer Voicer provides a free browser-based voice game that can be played on supported mobile and desktop browsers. The game lets you select playable content, hear or view a reference scene, grant microphone access, record a take locally, play it back, and continue through the game flow. The site also publishes original guidance about Voice Packs, Mods, multiplayer, microphone setup, recording and sharing, supported devices, and download choices.

The browser version and an installed Windows or Linux release can serve different needs. Links on our Download page may direct you to an external marketplace or creator page that controls its own files, pricing, requirements, and terms. Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, our guides are informational and do not promise that every external file, community Pack, Mod, browser, microphone, or operating-system version will remain available or compatible.

3. Eligibility and supervision

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. Choicer Voicer is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age at which you may independently agree to online-service terms where you live, use the site only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian who allows a minor to use the service is responsible for supervising that use.

Voice play can involve performance, imitation, jokes, copyrighted scenes, or community-created material. Adults responsible for younger players should review the selected Pack, external links, microphone permissions, and any recording or sharing plan before play. Do not submit payment information, account details, or personal information on behalf of another person without authority.

4. Limited permission to use the site

Subject to these Terms, Choicer Voicer grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access the public site and use the browser game for lawful entertainment and ordinary creative play. This permission does not transfer ownership of the game, site design, source code, visual assets, written guides, branding, or any third-party content.

You may link to public pages and share your own lawful game results or commentary. You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the site, mirror the game, scrape the service at scale, bypass technical controls, sell access to the site, remove rights notices, frame pages in a misleading way, or use Choicer Voicer branding to imply sponsorship or an official relationship that does not exist. Written permission is required for uses outside the permission granted here.

5. Microphone use and local recordings

The online game requests microphone permission only after you choose a recording action. Your browser controls the permission. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate microphone, volume, environment, and audience. Avoid recording private conversations, bystanders, or anyone who has not agreed to participate.

In the current browser game, your take is temporarily held in browser memory for local playback and is not uploaded to Choicer Voicer. Closing or refreshing the tab normally removes it. If you choose to capture the screen, route audio through other software, download a locally produced result, or share a performance through a third-party platform, that is your action and responsibility. Review the rights in the script, scene, Pack, music, character, and voices before publishing, monetizing, or distributing a recording. Local processing does not give you rights in source material you do not own.

6. Your content, voices, and permissions

You retain the rights you already have in original words, recordings, feedback, files, and other material you intentionally provide. You must have all rights, permissions, and consents needed for that material and for the way you use it. A person’s voice can be personal, protected, or commercially valuable. Do not record, imitate, clone, edit, or publish another person’s voice in a way that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.

If a feature requires an intentional upload or server-side processing, you grant Choicer Voicer a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, and return that material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and maintain the requested feature. This permission ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backups, legal duties, abuse prevention, and records described in the Privacy Policy. You do not grant us ownership of your eligible original content merely by using the service.

7. Voice Packs, Mods, scenes, and community material

Packs and Mods may contain captions, reference clips, scenes, characters, music, images, or other material created by or associated with third parties. A Pack being easy to find, free to download, playable in the browser, or linked by Choicer Voicer does not mean the material is public domain or cleared for every use. Follow the creator’s instructions, license, attribution requests, content warnings, and redistribution rules.

Do not remove creator credits, re-upload an archive without permission, falsely claim authorship, or use a Pack to harass a creator or performer. If you create a Pack, use material you made, licensed, or are otherwise authorized to use. Keep source records and permission evidence for material intended for public release. Choicer Voicer may remove a link, listing, or playable item after receiving a credible rights, safety, security, or policy complaint, but we are not required to pre-screen every community item.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Choicer Voicer to break the law, harm another person, or interfere with the service. Prohibited conduct includes:

• impersonating a real person for fraud, deception, harassment, defamation, or unauthorized endorsement;
• recording or distributing private, intimate, threatening, hateful, exploitative, or illegal material;
• infringing copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other rights;
• uploading malware, attempting unauthorized access, probing security, or disrupting availability;
• automating requests, scraping content, evading quotas, or creating linked accounts to defeat protections;
• manipulating advertising impressions or clicks, encouraging invalid ad activity, or interfering with ad delivery;
• misrepresenting a community download as reviewed, guaranteed, or produced by Choicer Voicer; or
• using the service in a way that creates unreasonable legal, security, or operational risk.

Creative parody, character performance, and experimentation remain welcome when lawful and respectful. Context matters, but calling harmful conduct a joke or game does not excuse it.

9. AI-generated content standards, reporting, and moderation

This section applies to every AI Dub request and result, including submitted voice samples, prepared scene dialogue, prompts or instructions, Packs and Mods used as source material, AI-transformed audio, and finished videos. AI Dub results are AI-generated content. The specific speech-to-speech models currently used for AI Dub are disclosed on the About Choicer Voicer page.

Choicer Voicer prohibits requesting, generating, uploading, publishing, distributing, or storing the following six categories through the service:

• Pornography or NSFW content. Pornographic, sexually explicit, non-consensual intimate, fetish, or other adult sexual material is not permitted.
• Violence or gore. Graphic injury, torture, mutilation, cruelty, glorification of real-world violence, or content that meaningfully facilitates violent harm is not permitted.
• Hate speech. Content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, promotes exclusion of, or incites hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics is not permitted.
• Child-unsafe content or CSAM. Child sexual abuse material, sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, exploitation, or any other content that endangers a child is strictly prohibited, including synthetic or apparently synthetic material.
• Deepfakes or impersonation. Deceptive or non-consensual cloning or simulation of a real person’s voice, identity, or likeness, including fraud, false endorsement, harassment, or presenting synthetic media as an authentic recording, is not permitted.
• Copyright or trademark infringement. Content that copies, adapts, distributes, or misuses protected scripts, scenes, recordings, characters, logos, brands, or other material without the required rights or permissions is not permitted.

Zero-tolerance material. CSAM or sexual content involving minors, content promoting terrorism or mass violence, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, incitement of genocide or ethnic violence, and non-consensual sexual deepfakes may result in immediate blocking or termination and may be reported to relevant service providers or authorities where required or appropriate.

How content moderation works. Automated technical controls validate submitted file types and request formats, enforce access and usage limits, and identify signals of unusual automation, quota evasion, or repeated abuse. Contracted AI providers may also apply their own safety controls under their policies. Choicer Voicer reviews user reports and flagged account activity using the information reasonably necessary to assess the issue, which may include a page or request reference, relevant source or output material, account and technical records, and evidence of rights or consent. These controls do not mean that every recording, Pack, request, or result is listened to or pre-screened before processing.

How to report prohibited content. Email our monitored support channel at [email protected] with the subject “Content Safety Report.” Include the page URL, AI Dub job or item reference if available, the prohibited category, a concise explanation, and any relevant rights or consent information. Do not attach or retransmit CSAM; identify only where the material can be located and contact the appropriate local authority or child-safety reporting organization. We limit access to reporter information to review, safety, and legal needs. Good-faith reports are reviewed on their merits; knowingly malicious or false reports may themselves lead to action.

Violation response and review. Depending on severity, context, legal obligations, and prior violations, Choicer Voicer may reject or block a request, remove or disable a generated result or public item, issue a warning, restrict generation or other features, suspend or terminate an account, prevent repeat access, preserve relevant evidence, and cooperate with service providers or lawful authorities. A user who believes an enforcement decision was mistaken may email the same address with the subject “Content Safety Appeal” and the decision or job reference for a further review.

10. Accounts, access controls, and security

Some account features may be paused, limited, or available only to existing users. If you have an account, provide accurate information, protect the email account or sign-in method connected to it, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

We may apply usage limits and security controls to protect free access, users, creators, providers, and the service. Signals suggesting automation, quota evasion, linked-account abuse, payment fraud, or harmful activity may lead to a request being blocked or an account being paused while reviewed. Access to support or billing records may remain available where appropriate. Do not attempt to defeat a suspension or control by clearing cookies, changing identifiers, using additional accounts, or directing another person to act for you.

11. Payments, credits, subscriptions, and refunds

The public browser game is free. If Choicer Voicer offers a paid download, credit package, account plan, or subscription, the purchase screen will identify the item, price, currency, billing interval, and material conditions before payment. Stripe or another disclosed payment provider may process the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store a complete payment-card number from Stripe-hosted checkout.

Recurring subscriptions renew until cancelled according to the checkout terms. Cancellation generally prevents a future renewal and does not retroactively reverse a completed billing period. One-time credits, subscriptions, promotions, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks are governed by the terms presented with the purchase and mandatory consumer law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred unless expressly allowed. If a payment is reversed, disputed, refunded, fraudulent, or made in error, related access or unused credits may be adjusted. 12. Advertising, affiliate attribution, and external services

Choicer Voicer may display advertising supplied by Google or other approved advertising vendors. Advertising helps support free access, but an ad does not mean Choicer Voicer endorses the advertiser, offer, product, statement, or destination. Advertisers control their creative content and landing pages. Use your own judgment before purchasing, downloading, or providing information in response to an ad.

Advertising providers may use cookies and similar technologies as explained in the Privacy Policy. You must not click ads artificially, ask others to click them, use bots or incentives to create impressions or clicks, or otherwise generate invalid advertising activity. Affiliate links may allow a referral provider to attribute an eligible visit or purchase. An affiliate relationship does not change the price or permit a third-party creator to speak for Choicer Voicer unless expressly stated.

The site also links to external marketplaces, community pages, videos, operating-system help, and downloads. We do not control their uptime, security, files, advertising, or privacy practices. A destination may change after we link to it. Scan downloads, review publisher information and permissions, and use appropriate device security.

13. Choicer Voicer ownership and rights notices

Choicer Voicer and its licensors retain all rights in the site, game implementation, branding, logos, interface, written guides, original graphics, code, compilation, and site-owned assets, excluding content that belongs to players, Pack creators, marketplaces, or other third parties. Nothing in these Terms grants a trademark license or permission to register a confusing name, domain, social account, app listing, or product.

If you believe material accessible through Choicer Voicer infringes your rights, email [email protected] with your contact information, identification of the protected work, the exact page or item, the basis for your claim, and a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized. False or abusive reports may themselves violate law or these Terms. We may request enough information to evaluate the report and may forward a relevant notice to the person responsible for the material.

14. Availability, updates, and service changes

We work to keep the free browser game and guides useful, but the service is provided over changing browsers, devices, networks, hosting systems, ad systems, and third-party sources. A microphone permission, codec, Pack, external scene, download, browser API, or linked page may stop working. Maintenance, security events, provider changes, legal requests, or technical limits may interrupt access.

We may add, update, replace, restrict, or discontinue a feature or item. We may correct guides and links as information changes. We do not promise that every prior interface, Pack, route, account feature, or download will remain indefinitely. Where a change materially affects a paid commitment, we will handle it according to the purchase terms and applicable law. You are responsible for keeping copies of your own source material and any result you are permitted to retain.

15. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choicer Voicer is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular creative, commercial, legal, or technical purpose. We do not warrant third-party Packs, Mods, ads, downloads, marketplaces, links, or user statements. You are responsible for evaluating permissions, accuracy, safety, compatibility, and rights before relying on or distributing material.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choicer Voicer and its operators, contributors, and service partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, reputational harm, device damage, or claims arising from third-party content or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to Choicer Voicer for the affected service during the six months before the event or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Enforcement, termination, disputes, and contact

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove material, block a request, restrict a feature, pause or terminate an account, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary. When appropriate, you may contact support to ask for review. You may stop using the site at any time. Provisions concerning rights, payments, records, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other terms that logically survive will continue after access ends.

Before beginning a formal dispute, please email a concise description and requested resolution so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate. These Terms are governed by applicable law determined under ordinary conflict-of-law rules, while any non-waivable rights and venue rules where you live remain in effect. If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver, and you may not transfer these Terms without our consent.

We may update these Terms when the service, law, providers, or business model changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
